After thinking I was going to have to send my VHS tapes away to an unknown company I found In-Focus Digital right here in Abilene. Tim did such a great job transferring a memory I thought was lost.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Several years ago I took a tape cassette that was almost 50 years old to Tim of my young daughters singing and talking and he made a most wonderful and clear CD from it.

Most recently, I acquired an old WW2 45 rpm record my Uncle had made at a “do it yourself” place prior to him leaving for the service talking and singing to his Mom… “You are my sunshine”!  It was so old, scratched and I’m sure the little record itself was low quality.

Tim salvaged and even though there may be some distortion it is clearly 100% clear to understand my Uncle talking and singing.

A treasure of a life time especially since at age 19 he never made  it home from Okinawa.

I also learned that he can transfer DVD’s onto a flash drive with high definition… to better “future proof our memories way beyond the DVD’s.”  Planning to have that done! I brought Tim a handful of VHS tapes from the early 90's that had been in a hot garage, and storage for years and he was able to restore them and transfer to a USB drive. His restoration process is incredible. Tim is passionate about what he does, and I am looking forward to restoring more tapes.

They turned out better than original. Now we can truly enjoy watching them at our leisure. They returned the originals cleaned and in better condition. Tim communicated through out the process.

Some of the cassettes were recorded over fifty years ago. Tim’s expertise in fixing what can be wrong with tapes this old was excellent.
