How long have you been in business?

Kayla Christianson founded IN-Focus Digital in 2001 as a video production company. She added graphic design and website construction services in 2006 following her employment as a university-level graphic design instructor. Check out our About Us page to read more!

DVD TRANSFERS

Are you going to send my tape somewhere out of town to be transferred?

No, we do all tape transfers in-house, so your precious memories never leave our office. The only media we must outsource are 8mm and other film, and these are sent to a trusted company we've been working with for years. They will convert the footage and we will create the final DVD.

How long will the transfer take?

Turnaround time for tape transfers is usually a week, depending on the complexity of your order and our current workload. Film and reel transfers take four to five weeks.

Can you transfer cassette tapes to CD?

Yes we can!

Can I get custom labels and DVD covers?

Yes, just ask about our custom graphic design rates.

VIDEO

Can you film my wedding/family gathering/company commercial/promotional video/etc?

Of course! Just contact us for availability.

Why would I need a video?

Videos are great tools for showing and telling what your company or organization is about. Promotional videos are helpful for marketing, trade shows, or reaching out to your community in general. Training videos are great tools for new workers or clients, and we can also produce commercials for television or the web. Let us know what your needs are and we will meet them.

Do you shoot in HD?

We do! We use all professional HD cameras and equipment.

Can I incorporate animation into my video?

Yes, we can produce 2D animation in-house.

Do you write the script for my video?

We can, but if you have a script, or even a general idea of a script, we can work with you to perfect it.

I need to show a video or PowerPoint at my event, but I don't have a projector or screen.

We have just what you need: we own a large projection screen and a projector, so ask us about renting them for your event.

What about live-switching at my event?

We do that too! Call us for details.

Can we have our video in digital format to post online?

Yes, just let us know. Producing a video for the web can involve different factors than producing a video for DVD only. We can also help with integrating your video on your website.

Do you shoot adult videos?

Nope. We're not that kind of video company.

I've never had a website before, and I don't know where to start. Can you help me?

Of course, just contact us to set up a free consultation, and we can find out your needs and how we can best help you. From social media integration to a photo galleries, we can help you build your presence on the web.

What do you need from me once I decide to use your services?

We will need as much content as you can provide for your website. Gather up your photos, logos, contact information, and all text you'd like included so we can accommodate it on your new site. Brochures and other existing print or promotional materials are very helpful.

Who writes my website's content?

Since you know your company better than we do, generally you provide us with all content you would like included. We offer copy-writing assistance for an additional charge if needed.

I found some great photos on Google. Can I use them on my site?

Probably not. Most photos you find on search engines are copyrighted, and therefore we cannot use them legally. We can help you find stock images, or we can offer our photography services.

What is website maintenance? Is that different from website setup?

Maintenance refers to changes made to your website after the initial design & setup. Updating the site with new photos, information, and links are all examples of website maintenance. We offer monthly maintenance plans to help you.

Do I have to host my site through you?

No, you can use any service you already have or wish to use. However, buying hosting through us makes things a lot easier by keeping all of your website "pieces" in one place. Also, if anything goes wrong with the hosting, we'll be the ones to contact the hosting provider for you.

I don't understand Facebook and Twitter, but I want to use them. Can you help me?

We sure can. We can work with you to boost your social media presence and either help you set up a page and train you, or you can send us your updates and we'll act as your social media partner.

Can you help our website come up on search engines?

Yes, all of our website packages include Search Engine Optimization.
